What can be recycled

We are part of Containers for Change

Our recycling centre offers a range of services available within Queensland regional areas to support responsible waste management. This includes containers made from glass, aluminium, plastic and paper board which is processed in Queensland to be reused in an environmentally friendly manner.

Aluminium cans

Glass bottles

Plastic bottles

Drink cans with a 10c logo.

This generally includes softdrink cans, beer cans, and various other drinks.

We do ask that you ensure cans are empty of all liquid.

We prefer they are not crushed

before being brought in to the recycling depot.

Glass bottles with a 10c logo

This includes nearly all softdrink, beer, wine and spirit bottles.

Please ensure the caps are removed before recycling.

We do ask that the bottles are empty, including any cigarette butts and fruit pieces.

Liquid paper board

All plastic bottles with a 10c logo.

This includes most softdrink and water bottles which can be clear or coloured.

Unfortunately, we are unable to process plastic milk bottles, however some flavoured milk bottles with the 10c logo, can be recycled.

Please ensure the cap is removed before recycling.

We do ask that you rinse them out before recycling them.

Any of these items with a 10c logo.

These are "Popper" type containers, and most will have contained fruit juice.

Unfortunately, we are unable to recycle

UHT milk containers as these do not have the 10c logo and will not be accepted by Containers for Change,

Please ensure containers are empty before recycling them.
